Temecula Winery Map
Temecula Valley Wine Country spans more than 33,000 acres – the largest viticultural area in Southern California – yet is one of the state’s best-kept secrets. First planted in 1968, the region is now home to nearly 50 wineries, from boutique to large-production, rustic to modern.
The Mediterranean-like climate is marked by long, warm days moderated by the ocean breeze that blows through the mountain range, creating cool nights. It’s a grape grower’s (and vacationer’s!) dream.
Visitors to Temecula Valley will find the majority of wineries clustered east of I-15 along and around Rancho California and De Portola Roads, with some located along Calle Contento as well. Each wine trail boasts its own unique personality, but all tasting rooms are warm and welcoming, inviting wine lovers of all kinds – from the novice to the aficionado – to uncover the story of Temecula Valley Southern California Wine Country.
